Worldwide Awake Business Network is designed to assist Awake Global business owners and members in sharing their content and contact information online. This helps them connect with like-minded potential customers worldwide, offering helpful and relevant products, services, and organizations.

By becoming a part of WABN you are granting us permission to assist in sharing your business information online, including on our social media platforms. Worldwide Awake Business Network is here to help Awake global business owners share their content and contact details online, aiming to connect with potential customers worldwide, offering helpful and relevant products, services, and organizations.

If you prefer that your products, logos, or images aren’t shown on our social media feeds, kindly inform us by sending an email.

When you share your business information and content on Worldwide Awake Business Network, you’re agreeing to follow our guidelines. This covers anything that’s visible on your business listing in our directory. Not adhering to these guidelines might lead to Worldwide Awake Business Network blocking your listing from appearing with your content or even suspending or closing your account. These rules are in addition to any other policies governing your use of Worldwide Awake Business Network.

FairPlay Policy

Worldwide Awake Business Network has the authority to prevent, remove, reject, or deny publishing and advertising privileges to any party, individual, or business if it’s thought (at our discretion!) that they’ve broken any of the terms mentioned in this document or page. We also have the right to decline explaining these decisions. Collection and Retention of Information

While conducting our regular business operations at the Worldwide Awake Business Network, we will gather and securely store information related to offering membership, event products, and services. Our commitment is to uphold privacy standards when dealing with personal information. We ensure that this is done in a way that safeguards the privacy of individuals and businesses, as outlined by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

The contact details you provide will only be used for the reasons you shared them with us. This includes featuring them on the Worldwide Awake Business Network’s website and using them for communication among members. If you prefer not to receive communications from fellow members, you can let us know in writing, and we’ll make sure your wishes are respected. Please be aware that if you choose not to opt out, other members might reach out to you, including through emails.

We retain the right to get in touch with any customer who has placed an order, regardless of their membership status with the Worldwide Awake Business Network. This communication might involve promotions and could be through email or phone. If you decide that you no longer want to receive such messages, you can use the unsubscribe option found in all our emails. If you want your contact information removed from our database completely, just let us know in writing, and we’ll handle it promptly.

All the information we gather comes from conversations with member representatives. These conversations could happen over the phone, via email, through mail, face-to-face meetings, or online interactions. We might keep records of these conversations to refer back to when providing service-related information and to help with staff training.

If there are any changes to the personal information or contact details of the member or representative, it’s the member’s responsibility to let us know in writing. We’re not responsible for outdated information that hasn’t been updated by the member.

Awake Listings in Membership Directory

When you submit a Business Listing, you’re confirming that you’re an authorized representative of that business (or you’ve been given permission by the business owner to act on their behalf), brand, organization, or person. This means you can edit and change the Business Listing. You agree to take full responsibility for anything that happens as a result. Worldwide Awake Business Network isn’t accountable for changes made to a Business Listing. If there are conflicts, we’ll handle them offline. For instance, if someone falsely claims a listing they’re not connected with, any issues arising from that will be resolved through direct communication.

Deleting a Business Listing is a power held only by our team, and we’ll only do it for legal reasons. Worldwide Awake Business Network can remove any Author from a Business Listing at any time if we decide to. This might happen if there’s no activity on the listing or if the author isn’t responding despite several attempts, and similar situations. As the author of the Business Listing, it’s your responsibility to keep the information updated. You can change your business listings info whenever you want through our website’s contact page.

It’s possible that you and we might have different ideas about what counts as an “Awake business.” We can choose not to offer certain advertising packages to businesses that could compete directly with our main business offering or with our other business interests.

Worldwide Awake Business Network doesn’t permit content that’s against the law, encourages illegal actions, or violates the rights of others.

What’s NOT PERMITTED on Worldwide Awake Business Network

For those who are “awake” this section should be already familiar; for the benefit of clarity for everyone, as a business owner on Worldwide Awake Business Network, it’s essential to grasp the content of what IS NOT allowed on our platform so that you can report anything that you see has been posted by another party that may be contrary to these rules.

To ensure there’s no confusion, we’ve detailed the regulations below, ensuring everyone comprehends what’s considered appropriate and what’s not.

These guidelines are categorized alphabetically to enhance clarity.

  • Adult Content in Family-Friendly Content

We want to maintain a safe and family-friendly environment on Worldwide Awake Business Network. This means that we don’t allow content that seems appropriate for families but actually contains adult themes like sex, violence, or inappropriate portrayals of children or well-known children’s characters. Our aim is to keep our platform suitable for all audiences.

  • Adult Products

To keep our platform family-friendly, we don’t allow content that promotes products with sexual themes or businesses that focus on such items. While some of these products might have their benefits, we want to be careful about their connection to other categories. If you’re looking to promote these products, we suggest using a different directory specific to your industry or niche.

  • Child Exploitation and Abuse

At Worldwide Awake Business Network, we take the safety and well-being of all users seriously. That’s why we strictly prohibit any content that promotes or shows the sexual mistreatment of minors. This includes any images, videos, or materials that depict or encourage adults being attracted to or acting inappropriately towards children.

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material and Paedophilia

We do not tolerate content that promotes the sexual exploitation of minors in any way. This includes any content that visually depicts, encourages, or promotes sexual attraction by adults toward minors. Our priority is to maintain a safe and secure environment for all our users.

  • Endangered or Threatened Species

We don’t allow content that advertises the sale of items made from animals or plants that are at risk of disappearing. This includes selling products made from endangered species like koalas, tigers, shark fins, and more. Our goal is to protect and preserve our natural world.

  • Mail-Order Brides

To ensure the safety of our users, we do not allow any content related to marrying someone from another country. We’re aware of the risks and issues that can arise in this industry, such as scams and dishonest practices. Therefore, we prohibit content related to international marriage brokers, romance tours, and mail-order bride services.

  • Misleading Content

Honesty is key on Worldwide Awake Business Network. We don’t allow content that provides false information about you, your content, or the main purpose of your website. We also do not permit content that tricks users into engaging with it based on untrue or unclear information. We take a strong stance against content that tries to deceive users for personal gain.

  • Offensive or Dangerous Content

We’re committed to creating a respectful and safe space for all users. Therefore, we don’t allow content that spreads hatred, encourages discrimination, or disrespects individuals or groups based on their characteristics. Additionally, content that bullies, intimidates, or harasses others is strictly prohibited. We have a zero-tolerance policy for promoting harm to oneself or others.

  • Sexually Explicit Content

We maintain a platform that’s appropriate for all audiences, so we don’t allow explicit sexual material in any form – whether it’s in text, images, audio, video, or games. This includes content that’s sexually graphic, suggestive, or provocative.

  • Harmful or Unwanted Software

Safety is our priority, which is why we prohibit content that contains harmful software or “malware.” This type of software can cause damage or unauthorized access to computers, devices, or networks. We require transparency about the software’s functionality and its effects on users’ systems. Additionally, proper compliance with guidelines when using Google services or products is a must to maintain a secure environment for everyone.

By using Worldwide Awake Business Network, you agree to follow these rules and help create a positive and safe community for all users.

Delivery Policy

Worldwide Awake Business Network will send you an email to confirm that we’ve received your order.

It’s really important that the details given by the representative are accurate when they’re sent to us. Before hitting the submit button for online applications or orders, the representative should double-check everything for mistakes. If there are errors, like typos, in the details the representative provides, there might be extra charges. This includes cases where additional cost is incurred by Worldwide Awake Business Network to correct.

Refund & Returns Policy

If you’re not entirely happy with what you ordered, please contact Worldwide Awake Business Network right away in writing. This will help our team look into the matter.

When it comes to refunds, it’s up to Worldwide Awake Business Network to decide, and usually, we’ll only do it if we haven’t met your expectations in all aspects of providing the product or service.

If you’ve got event tickets and want a refund, you can get one from Worldwide Awake Business Network as long as you ask in writing no later than five working days before the event date.  Unfortunately, if you don’t show up for the event, we can’t give you refunds or credits.

Here’s how it works for annual membership renewals: After you renew, you have seven days to change your mind. If you do, Worldwide Awake Business Network might refund some of your annual membership fees, taking into account a 1-month notice period and an extra $20 charge for processing.

All the refunded money will go back the same way you paid, like through the original card or bank account. But keep in mind, it could take 5-10 working days for the refund to show up on your statement because of the processing times for Stripe, PayPal, and banks.

Security of Information

Safeguarding personal information is a top priority for the Worldwide Awake Business Network. When you provide sensitive details, like credit card numbers, on our website, we make sure they’re protected using secure socket layer technology (SSL), which is like a digital shield.

For payments involving credit cards, your information is sent directly to trusted platforms like Stripe and PayPal. These are third-party services that handle online transactions securely. They process your payment while maintaining the utmost security standards. Both Stripe and PayPal are highly regarded for their robust security measures and have earned PCI Service Provider Level 1 certification, the highest level of security certification in the payments industry.

It’s important to note that the Worldwide Awake Business Network doesn’t store your complete credit card information permanently. This ensures that neither we nor anyone else outside of Stripe can see your full credit card number.

While we do everything to protect your information, it’s important to understand that the Worldwide Awake Business Network won’t be held responsible for any losses or security breaches related to credit card or other information that’s stored with us.

Intellectual property misuse

At Worldwide Awake Business Network, we don’t accept content that violates copyright rules. We’re committed to addressing reports of possible infringement that meet the ACCC requirements. We also prohibit content that sells or promotes counterfeit items. Counterfeit goods have a trademark or logo that’s almost exactly the same as someone else’s trademark. They try to look like the real product from a well-known brand to deceive people into thinking they’re genuine.

Membership Applications, Transfers, Overdue Accounts, and Cancellations

At Worldwide Awake Business Network, memberships belong to the business entity or company, not the person representing it, and you can’t move a membership from one company to another. If your business details change, like if you change your name or start something new, you need to send a written request to Worldwide Awake Business Network asking to update your membership info. It’s important to note that any costs incurred due to these changes may be passed on to you.

For yearly or monthly memberships, the fees need to be paid automatically through Stripe or another system. If a payment doesn’t go through, the system will try again.

Overdue Payments

Once you account falls in arrears you will receive an email notifying you, and you will have five (5) working days to take action.

If the account is still in arrears after this time, your listing on the Membership Directory will be taken offline until the account is paid.

If your account is overdue for 60 days or more, Worldwide Awake Business Network can end your membership.

If you want to cancel your membership, you need to let Worldwide Awake Business Network know a month ahead in writing. Even if you quit, you still need to pay any fees you owe. Worldwide Awake Business Network also reserves the right to cancel a membership with no explanation or if a company’s actions are causing harm to other members.

Furthermore, if WABN makes the decision not to accept your application, any monies paid will be refunded in full within 10 days.

Being a member is a unique privilege.

Third Parties

The Worldwide Awake Business Network might choose to work with other companies to help us offer important services and manage certain business tasks. But don’t worry; these companies can’t use your personal information for anything that’s not related to our network. We’re strict about that.

We don’t give out your information to these other companies for anything that doesn’t have to do with our network. We keep it private and secure.

Sometimes, we use special technology from other companies to show ads online. This might involve putting tiny files called cookies on your computer. These cookies are like little tags that your web browser can see. If you want, you can control how cookies work through your web browser settings.

Legal

The Worldwide Awake Business Network reserves the right to disclose personally identifiable information as required by law, to its professional advisors and when disclosure is necessary to protect the Worldwide Awake Business Network’s rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

The Worldwide Awake Business Network reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time, so you may choose to check it regularly. If we make important changes, we’ll let all our customers and member representatives know. You would find the updated statement on our news page on the Worldwide Awake Business Network website.
